Degrees – Department of 化学
The objectives of the chemistry program are to prepare students for professional careers in the chemical sciences; for graduate studies in the chemical sciences; or for professional studies in medicine, 法律, or the allied health sciences. Students are strongly advised to consult with faculty members of the department, not only for assistance in formulating their programs of study, but also for information relative to the many career opportunities afforded to a chemistry major.
The objectives of the biochemistry program are to prepare students for graduate studies in biochemical sciences; or professional studies in medicine, 法律, or the allied health sciences. The recommended sequence of courses for the baccalaureate degree in biochemistry also fulfills all requirements for pre-professional preparation in medicine, 牙科, medical technology, 药店, veterinary medicine, and other health-related programs.
